Isabella I of Castille was a real person
She was the first Queen of Spain.
Isabella was a complicated lady. On the one hand, she wanted to make sure that Native Americans were treated well by the Spanish conquistadors in America. She had Columbus arrested because he treated some Native Americans badly. This was a time she stood up for other people and protected them.
On the other hand, she agreed to kick all the Jewish people living in Spain out. This was very sad for them to leave their homes without taking their things with them. This was a time when Isabella behaved cruelly to people who didn’t deserve it.
People can be good in one way but bad in other ways. Some people are nice to certain groups of people but bully other people
